17th Annual SATMAs 2022 takes place this weekend at Mbombela Stadium

The South African Traditional Music Achievements Awards (SATMAs) in partnership with the Department of
Culture, Sports and Recreation in Mpumalanga will host the 17th Annual SATMA Awards on the 1st October 2022 at Mbombela Stadium.

The SATMA Awards 2022 will be hosted Lesly Musina and Kajal Maharaj. The red carpet event will start at 17:30 and the ceremony will commence at 19:00. The following performers will be live on stage, Intaba Yase Dubai, Nathi Mankayi, Nomcebo Zikode Zama Khumalo, Cevuzile and Lebo Sekgobela.

Expected to make an appearance on the day is Lucky Dube Family, Professor PLO Lumumba and Zozibini Tunzi (Miss Universe 2019).

The theme for this year is “My Culture, Your Culture, One Nation”.
