The Limpopo provincial government will host homecoming activities to appreciate and celebrate the newly crowned Miss SA 2022, Ndavi Nokeri.
The activities will run from 26 to 28 August 2022 in Polokwane and Greater Tzaneen Municipality.
The twenty-three-old Nokeri who hails from Gavaza Village, in the Greater Tzaneen Municipality joins a list of former winners of the Miss SA title from Limpopo, including Bokang Montjane and Shudufhadzo Musida.
Ndavi is a University of Pretoria graduate with a Degree in BCom Investment Management. She is currently working for an asset management firm in Cape Town.
Nokeri received R1 million in cash in addition to a sponsorship package worth over R3 million that included a residence in Waterfall for the duration of her reign.
She also received a Mercedes-Benz C Class and a year’s worth of cosmetics, apparel, jewelry, and appliances.
The first leg of the three-day activities begins at Meropa Casino and Entertainment Centre on 26 August 2022 where she will be received at a Breakfast Session by the Premier of Limpopo, Mr. Chupu Stanley Mathabatha and the Mayor of Greater Tzaneen Municipality.
The breakfast session will be followed by a street parade in and around the City of Polokwane and later head to Greenside Primary School.
On 27th of August 2022, Miss SA will pay a courtesy visit to Hosi Mhlaba’s Royal Palace. The visit to Hosi Mhlaba will be followed by a visit to Ezamazwe Education Centre for Innovation.
There will be a street parade in and around the streets of Tzaneen, Nkowankowa and Tickyline Village. The day will be concluded at a gala dinner to be held in Tzaneen and the homecoming will conclude with a mini music festival at Gavaza and the surrounding villages.
