PLEASURE TSA MANYALO HOUSEHOLD BRAND
Pleasure Ramadimetja Peta, popularly known as Pleasure tša manyalo, was born on March 1st, 1980, in Tjiane, Ga-Mphahlele, Limpopo Province.
She is the first daughter of Mr. Manase Seroanye Maja (Ngoato) and Mrs. Rangoato Agrineth Maja (Hunadi). Pleasure married Mr. Petrus (Gobetse) Peta on April 24th, 2010, and they have four sons.
Pleasure attended Tjiane Primary School in 1984 and later Phutlo Secondary School, where she matriculated in 1996.
She obtained her National Diploma in Animal Productions from Tompi Seleka College of Agriculture before acquiring her B-Tech in Agricultural Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA).
Before joining the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform, she served as a police constable under the South African Police Services.
Pleasure’s love for music began during her Sunday school days at Revelation Assembly Church, where her grandfather, the late Bishop Nkotsane Charles Maja, was the leader.
She recorded her first album in February 2005, titled MaAndrews vol 1 (Sheba nna), with the assistance of Rufus Mphahlele and Ma-Andrews Maakomane.
In the same year, she recorded her first album under her name, Pleasure vol 1, Mosadi wa Setagwa. Since then, she has produced numerous hit albums that continue to make her a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
Some of Pleasure’s most popular tracks include Lefotwana, Laela, Ke Lorile, ntshike ka diatla, Modimo ke sethakga, Sekgameetse, Kgalemela lenyatšo, Malapa ga a lekane, Banyadi, Rakgadi ya ngwana, mmušetše gae, Mohweleretshipi, Moipone, Bogadi bja swikiri, Sadi o tsamaiša matepe, mengwaga ye lesome, and Sebatana.
Her famous song, Ke Lorile, came second in the 2022 song of the year at Limpopo’s leading radio station, Thobela FM.
