Rethabile Khumalo Hospitalised After Being Poisoned by Her Friend
South African singer Rethabile Khumalo is fighting for her life in the hospital after being poisoned by a friend.
The new mother was recently poisoned, and her mother, Winnie Khumalo, disclosed on her Instagram page that Rethabile is in critical condition.
Winnie also shared that Rethabile has undergone three operations since being admitted.
“It has been six days now in the hospital… So, I decided it’s only fair to share this sad news with her supporters… They have done three operations on her already. We hope that @rethabile_rsa will soon recover, but at the moment, things are not looking good… She has been in a critical state… When you pray, please include her. Ubunzima bokuba umzali,” Winnie posted.

Rethabile has faced significant challenges in recent years. In 2020, she survived a car accident, and in 2022, she opened up about her battle with depression and a previous suicide attempt.
