The SATMAs has announced an extension for the Call for Nominations submissions. The SATMAs mark its 18th edition, under the theme “My Culture, Your Culture, One Nation.”
Responding to the overwhelming demand from participants, the SATMAs has taken the decision to extend the closing date for Call for Nominations submissions to July 31, 2023.
This extension aims to provide aspiring entrants with an extended opportunity to submit their nominations for the highly coveted awards.
Alongside the deadline extension, the SATMAs will introduce three new categories for this year’s edition. The new additions include Best Traditional School group/artist, Best Traditional University group/artist, and Best Traditional Influential Social Media Page.
Individuals and groups can upload their nomination forms via the official SATMAs website: www.satmaawards.co.za. If online submission encounters difficulties, participants may email their applications to nominations@satmaawards.co.za.
The Call for Nominations welcomes multiple entries across different categories, allowing flexibility for artists, radio stations, and record labels alike.
To nominate your favorite artist or group relevant to your station or label, you can complete the nominees form, ensuring the inclusion of the artist’s biography, picture, and audio samples.
All submissions must be made before July 31, 2023, to be considered for the awards.
The 18th SATMA Awards ceremony will be hosted in KwaZulu-Natal at the renowned Durban International Convention Center.
The highly anticipated announcement of nominees will take place in Pretoria, Gauteng, during the month of August 2023.
The main event date for the SATMA Awards will be disclosed during the nominee announcement event.
