In the highly contested Capricorn FM Presenter Search, Carrie Mudau emerged as the successful contender.
The Capricorn FM Presenter Search has long served as a platform for discovering fresh talent in the radio industry, and Mudau’s success adds another chapter to the presenter search initiative.
During the four-week voting phase, listeners had the opportunity to vote for their favourite presenter candidate. This, combined with on-air interviews, ensured that the most deserving candidate would be chosen to follow in the footsteps of previous winners.
Carrie took to her social media account to announce her victory and thank her fans for voting for her. She also mentioned that she will update her fans when she will be going on air.
“I would like to express my gratitude to each and every beautiful being for voting and cheering for me! Thank you for helping make a girl’s dream come true. I will definitely let you guys know the day I go on air. Thank you again, here’s to more wins!,” said Carrie.
Carrie Mudau, born and raised in Sibasa, is not only a popular radio presenter but also an actress, voice artist, content creator, creative director, master of ceremonies (MC), and the founder and host of the Conversations podcast, focusing on music and general life issues.
Carrie leaves Choice FM based in Thohoyandou where she was the host of The Insomniac show every Monday to Friday from 03:00 to 06:00 and the Morning Rush show on Saturdays from 06:00 to 10:00.
Mudau is set to co-host Capricorn FM Amplified from mid-December to early January. Amplified Summer Nights will be on air from December 18, 2023, to January 4, 2024, Mondays to Thursdays from 18:00 to 21:00.
