Cassper Nyovest has shared that his album, “Sweet & Short,” has officially gone platinum.
He revealed that he has 12 platinum plaques which were delivered at Universal Music Group, but is yet to collect and celebrate his success.
Nyovest took to (X) formerly Twitter expressing regret to neglecting to celebrate his musical achievements and recognized that his team eagerly awaits the opportunity to showcase the plaques.
“Sweet and Short is platinum by the way. I got like 12 plaques yesterday that have been chilling at UMG. I haven’t been celebrating my musical achievements lately and that’s Wack. I’m sure the people I work with want to put plaques on the wall and flex,” Cassper wrote.
Sweet & Short is Cassper’s fourth studio album with. The 11-track album with The album debuted in November 2018, marking a notable return to Cassper’s kwaito roots, a genre that shaped his early music career.
The album features the likes of Frank Casino, DJ Sumbody, Boskasie and Shwi Nomntekhala.
