Winnie Mashaba arrives in the United Kingdom for her debut performance.
Dr Winnie Mashaba, renowned gospel artist and beloved figure in the South African music industry, has achieved yet another milestone in her career.
After 25 years of captivating audiences across the African continent, Dr Mashaba has taken her melodious voice to international shores, making her debut performance in the United Kingdom.
The award-winning gospel artist is set to headline the highly anticipated UK Worship Night on 24 June, marking her first-ever performance outside of Africa.
In a Facebook post expressing her gratitude and anticipation, Dr Mashaba shared her heartfelt sentiments with her fans.
“Flying out to the UK tomorrow to perform for the very first time. Morena Modimo Nna ke le hlompha kudu Jeremiah 29:11. From Ga Phasha to the World. Galalela Morwedi’a Sione,” she proclaimed.
“It is going down this coming Saturday at Dunstable Conference Centre. Touched down by the grace of God,” she shared with enthusiasm after arriving in the UK.
Born in 1981 in the humble village of Kgoši Phasha, Steelpoort, Dr Mashaba’s musical journey began at a young age. She grew up in the village of Ga-Sekhukhune, where her family later settled. Over the years, her talent and dedication to her craft have propelled her to great heights within the music industry.
To commemorate her 25-year career in music, Dr Mashaba celebrated at Meropa Casino on 27 March 2023. The event was a testament to her success and the support she continues to receive from her loyal fanbase.
