Actor and Rapper Kope “Tswyza” Makgae, who is known for his role as Mrekza in ‘Generations: The Legacy’ has secured a lead role on e.tv’s new telenovela Isiphetho: Destiny
The upcoming telenovela follows a group of four friends who return to the community of Mzimhlophe in Soweto where they reunite to start an innovative restaurant.
They want to revitalise their community and rewrite their futures but their journey of self realisation is threatened when their past and enemies threaten to thwart their dreams.
The foursome is played by Mbalenhle Mavimbela, Kope “Tswyza” Makgae, Tsholo Maseko and Upile uThixo Bongco. Makgae will portray the role of Mosa on the upcoming show.
Kope Makgae took to social media to celebrate his new lead role. Generations The Legacy is sad to confirm his exit.

Isiphetho: Destiny premieres on Monday 15 April at 18h30.
The series is produced by Isitha: The Enemy producers Black Brain Pictures, with Mandla N. and Mpumelelo Nhlapo at the helm, and will be introduced in a unique way.
It’s going to be preceded by a 13-episode miniseries titled Re-Imagine Destiny about the production’s search for newcomer actors.
The show held open auditions in Limpopo, Gauteng, KZN and the Eastern Cape and the miniseries follows this process and the actors who were discovered.
