Giyani: Land Of Blood returns for a third season

The Xitsonga drama series Giyani: Land Of Blood returns for a third season and avid viewers of the show are already excited.

SABC announced that the popular telenovela is back in production with the recording of season 3, after taking a production break. The new season will debut in February 2023.

In keeping with our family entertainment proposition, our viewers are immersed in the intriguing storyline that outlines themes which our audiences can identify with”. As the series’ final story starts. The banana plantation has been replaced by a game lodge, which Manoko continues to plunder, while the villagers continue to be excluded and to live in poverty on what they claim to be their own land.Season 3 will see the introduction of The Khoza Family.

Lesley Musina joins the cast as Solani Khoza, a successful lawyer and patriarch of the Khoza family. Lesley’s wife Pele, an ex-promo girl, becomes club manager, played by Bokang Phelane, while Gigi Ndlovu joins the show as Dzovo, Solani’s son.

Dzovo is Khensani’s new love interest and business partner. Another powerhouse is Solani’s sister, the Khoza family matriarch Mambeku, played by Nsuku Baloyi. Joining them are his two daughters Mixo (Nkateko Mabunda) and Zuri for another riveting season.
