The Vitality Netball World Cup 2023 (VNWC2023) will be the first Netball World Cup in South Africa, taking place from July 28th to August 6th, 2023 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
The Limpopo Government will join the Netball Community in welcoming the Netball World Cup Trophy, which arrives at Maruleng Municipality in the Mopani District on June 8th. The trophy will tour all five districts, starting with Mopani.
The plan includes activations for citizens to appreciate the trophy and will conclude the provincial tour in the Waterberg District on June 13th, beginning at Mokopane Comprehensive School in Mogalakwena Municipality and continuing to Bela-Bela Mall.
The Netball World Cup Trophy Tour will generate excitement across the country for the upcoming tournament in Cape Town.

The Vitality Netball World Cup 2023 in Cape Town will run from 28th July to 6th August. 16 teams will be battling it out across the 10 days.
The Netball World Cup is an international netball championship taking place every four years by World Netball. It started in 1963 and has been largely dominated by the Australian and New Zealand national teams.
Both teams medaled in all 15 championships. Trinidad and Tobago won a title in a three-way tie in 1979, making them the only team to do so.
The most recent tournament was the 2019 Netball World Cup in Liverpool, England, where New Zealand emerged as the champions.
