Motlanalo, the multi-award-winning Afro-pop soul songstress, has resigned as the Head of Marketing, PR, and Communications at Shynebright Entertainment with immediate effect.
She has announced her immediate departure from the company, stating that the direction the company is taking doesn’t align with her future plans.
“This decision was made after giving it much thought and reflection to better line with my principles and career goals,” said Motlanalo
In a statement released on Thursday, Motlanalo emphasised that she values a conducive working environment.
“While my time with Shynebright Entertainment has been marked by professional growth and valuable experiences, I am deeply committed to the principles of transparency, professionalism, and mutual respect, all of which are essential for an ideal working environment.
Motlanalo clarified that she has never been signed as a recording or performing artist.
“It is also important to highlight that I have never signed with Shynebright Entertainment as a recording or performing artist. I have consistently maintained an independent status, managed exclusively under the Motlanalo Events and Management,” said Motlanalo
Motlanalo announced the upcoming release of her latest single, “Goya Goile (Forever),” scheduled to drop at the end of January. She says her album is set for release in February, promising an exciting start to the new chapter in her career.
