In an effort to combat violence against women and children, Jack Rams has initiated the “Resounding Voices Poetry Session” under the banner of the “16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children.”
This event promises to be a stirring and impactful gathering that unites the community through the art of poetry.
Jack Rams, the visionary behind the Resounding Voices Poetry Slam, says this session is more about social cohesion and addressing social ills.
“In the verses of poetry, we find the strength to break the silence, raise awareness, and unite against violence. This show is not just about words; it’s about the power of our collective voices to make a world free of violence a reality,” said Jack Rams.
Scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2023, the Resounding Voices Poetry Session will commence at 1:00 PM and continue until 6:00 PM at Golden Lifestyle venue, situated in Nobody Moremedi Park, right next to Mr. Prince Hardware, opposite Laduma Hardware. There is no entrance fee – this event is free for all to attend.
This event is made possible by funding from the National Arts Council and generous sponsorship from Golden Lifestyle, Mega Artists Media, and MBE Plumbing Electrical Building Construction.

Poets and speakers, impassioned by the cause, will converge to lend their voices through the medium of poetry with the aim of inspiring change and sending a resounding message against violence directed towards women and children.
