Shebeshxt Fears For His Life

Limpopo-born sensation Shebeshxt, real name Lehlogonolo Chauke, took to his Instagram stories claiming that hitmen were hired to assassinate him.

This is amid videos of “prophets” and sangomas warning him about people plotting to take his life.

“They hired people to kill me. Pray for me,” he wrote.

A traditional healer, known as a sangoma Mkhulu Qheba, has issued a grave warning to the rapper via a video.

He says a message was shared with him about Shebeshxt and further cautioned him against eating and drinking when he performs.

His vision involves a woman attempting to poison Shebeshxt’s food during an event in Vaal.

“When Shebe comes to perform he must be careful … his downfall will be a woman. She will bring him a spiked drink or food that will have muthi. And this girl with say Shebe has raped her,“ said Mkhulu Qheba.

“This is the message that I got from uMKhulul, “ said the traditional healer in a video on social media.

Chauke has been one of the most talked-about music stars in South Africa since he was released from jail.

Prior to his musical journey, Shebeshxt openly discussed his involvement in criminal activities

“I stopped doing crime. I used to do it to feed my child. I didn’t steal cars. I used to go where others couldn’t. I wanted money. I could enter a store and shoplift. With a gun, knife. I would carry big knives. It wasn’t only shoplifting. I stole things. I mugged people, I had a lot of phones,” he revealed during an interview on Podcast and Chill.

In a separate live video on Facebook, Shebeshxt reveals that someone attempted to shoot him at Hamanskraal but missed.

He expresses concern for his safety, feeling that his life is in danger, and believes there are people who don’t want to see him prosper.
