Hardly a month after he showed off his new wheels Lehlohonolo Chauke, well-known as Shebeshxt, was involved in a car accident next to Goseame in Polokwane when his white VW GTI hatchback collided with the back of a Toyota bakkie on Tuesday.
The incident follows recent claims by a traditional healer who posted a TikTok video narrating a vision detailing how people in the entertainment industry were allegedly out to get him.
The sangoma claimed there is a plot to kill him and frame him for rape. Shebe also claims that he is targeted by evil forces attempting to lure him into a demonic group in the entertainment industry.
Reports on social media revealed that the rapper was rushed to the hospital for a check-up, despite not having physical injuries. The police had also arrived at the scene to gather statements.
Minutes after having a car accident, some people ran up to him to try to take pictures with him at the scene, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Shebe did not seem shaken and bothered as he entertained his fans like nothing happened.
He took to his social media to assure fans that he is doing fine. “Otherwise, ‘ke rata kereke I’m blessed by G.O.D!!’ Thank you Lordddsxhta!”
He said he was grateful for a second chance at life and that he did not sustain major injuries.
“Ke phunyuka ba mphete, alpha and omega, start to finish. I am doing just fine. No mopenisko, I am still alive and kicking, ngeke ba lunge.”
A few weeks ago, the same car was stripped of its lights and number plates. The incident occurred during his performance at Sunnyside in Pretoria over the weekend. Shebeshxt went to his Facebook page to express his frustrations.
In his post he shared pictures of his stripped car with caption “Gabotse le nyaka go ntshenyetsa neh”
re leboga bophelo. God is great.
