Warren Masemola and Lesley Musina set to join Skeem Saam
Warren Masemola and Lesley Musina are set to make their mark on Skeem Saam, bringing fresh intrigue and dynamic new characters to the beloved South African soap opera.
Warren Masemola will portray the character of Gopane, a native of Turfloop who makes the bold move to Johannesburg to work as a taxi driver.
His character’s arrival is shrouded in mystery, as he comes to uncover the truth behind the sudden disappearance of his son, Smaki, who vanished without a trace.
Gopane’s quest for answers will put the families of Turfloop under intense scrutiny, as he vows to unravel the secrets that lie beneath the surface.
“It’s absolutely beautiful. I actually feel like I’m in Limpopo. Being a city boy that grew up in Tshwane, the set of Skeem Saam makes me feel like I’m back with my people”, says Warren.
Masemola’s first appearance is scheduled for November 4, 2024, and fans are eagerly awaiting his debut.

Meanwhile, Lesley Musina steps into the role of Fefo, a charming and seemingly confident man who disrupts the seemingly idyllic life of Mr. Kgomo and Melita.
While Fefo initially presents himself as an affable character, viewers will soon discover a darker, more menacing side to him, full of threats and violence that could jeopardize the couple’s stability.
“Shooting Skeem Saam is a dream come true. What an amazing production. Everyone is so welcoming here and I immediately felt at home when cast, crew and production welcomed me with open arms. It feels like I’ve been here forever,” says Lesley.
